Introduction: Necrotizing enterocolitis is an acute inflammatory disease of the intestine that can lead to necrosis and bowel perforation. It a severe complication preterm birth. It’s mortality rate up 50% survival after necrotizing leads long-term complications. The current treatment supportive includes rest decompression antibiotics. Thus, new treatments are necessary reduce morbidity. Mesenchymal stromal cells known have anti-inflammatory properties might be promising option for treatment. Here we present protocol systematic review with aim explore efficacy cell therapies mesenchymal in animal models enterocolitis. primary outcome histological signs Additional outcomes include survival, perforation, gut permeability, motility, levels markers, cytokine adverse events. Methods: We will conduct search MEDLINE, Embase, Web Science databases. retrieved records screened individually by two investigators. all preclinical vivo experimentally induced evaluate or other therapy treatments. Outcome data extracted from each article risk bias assessment performed. Funnel plots SYRCLE’s tool studies used. Data reported as ratios, divided predefined subgroups where relevant. Conclusions: This aims examine whether there sufficient evidence support clinical trial safety infants enterocolitis.
